Mens Threes

Mens Threes played away at 13:30pm against Crawley 4s. It was a tough match with countless scoring opportunities. Unfortunately, the game ended 0-0 with a great performance from every player in the team. Player of the match went to Tim Porter.

Ladies Ones

Ladies Ones played at home at 12:00pm against Brighton 4s. Within the first 10 minutes, Crowborough had to do at least 5 defensive short corners, a difficult time for the defence. Amazingly, the team managed to keep every single one of them out, pushing for the counter attack and using every opportunity to try and score. With a few injuries, the side suffered a 1-0 loss but were super proud because of their amazing resilience and communication between players.

Ladies Twos

Ladies Twos played at home against Horsham at 14:00pm. It was an extremely physical and fast paced game with much misfortune for the side. Despite it being the toughest game the team have had this season, they still came away with a point, the game ending in a 1-1 draw. Alice Webb, playing her second game for the club, once again secured points with her goal. Having made numerous astonishing saves and not conceding a penalty flick, Ladies Twos goalkeeper Keren Loder was awarded player of the match.

Ladies Threes

Ladies Threes played away against Penguin 1s at 11:30am. A massive congratulations to the team for getting their third win in a row, winning the game 4-1. Goals came from Lucy Gibson, Amanda Catling and Rachel Valentine. Player of the match was awarded to Lucy Gibson for her two goals and constant running which kept the other teams defence baffled.

Boys Development

Boys Development played away against Mid Sussex at 14:15pm. Unfortunately, the boys lost 7-0 to the opposition yet kept pushing back and fighting hard throughout the game.

Girls Development

Girls Development played at home at 10:30am against Burgess Hill. The defence were worked hard during this game, goalkeeper Tilly Singleton making several crucial saves. The girls were amazing on the counterattack, unlucky not to get a goal each time they broke. Skills shown were excellent and teamwork was strong. The girls lost 3-0 which was not a fair reflection of the game but the team came away with huge smiles on their faces.

Under 14s

The team played at home against Addiscombe on Sunday. In a game that was tighter than the scoreline, players showed excellent skills and superb attitudes to really put the opposition under pressure- while defending with great commitment. Player of the match went to Oli H!

Under 12 Boys

Two super tight games were played at home on Sunday. These games were a real club effort, with older development players, young ladies players, adult players and club umpires coming together to support and coach the side. Overall it was a really enjoyable day with great opportunities for the boys to develop their match skills.

A massive thank you to Vicky Dennett who coached, entertained and provided the young sides with games as well as playing her own game this weekend!
