Sussex In2s 2024

Massive well done to all our young players and young volunteers at the In2s today.

The U10s made their first ever tournament appearance. Guided by the amazing Michelle Hulse they were absolutely super - and finished sixth. Many also featured in the Barbarians side - finishing third! Thanks to Andrew Dennett for managing this combo side so successfully. Thanks to the absolutely super Lottie C and Isla B for helping the younger side out - as GK and as score runner.

In the Boys U12 vase competition the excellent Nathan Smith guided the boys to a very credible 4th place. There were super performances from all eight of the squad. Well done boys! And thanks to junior umpire Jess J who joined us at this point (and stayed for the terrible late weather in the girls U12 vase!)

Our Girls U12 represented the club in the Cup, with the brilliant Amy Currie guiding them. Against tough, tough opposition they finished midtable in fifth - well done all.

Thanks also to all the parents who supported with such vigour - and took on all sorts of tasks - hugely appreciated.

Finally to the terrific trio Hilary BrownJulie Bradshaw and Keren who ran East pitch, scored, presented, umpired and mentored -thanks for giving up all your time in ever worsening conditions.

The Ron Easton is soon - March 24th and I hope to see all these amazing young players representing the Crows again there - you were all superb and a credit to the club.
