Well done to the Crowborough youth sides today at Saffrons in Eastbourne.
The girls had a stormer, beating Lewes Twos's 6-0, before then beating Eastbourne 4-1 in a valiant display. All goals were met with tremendous celebration and determination never ceased. The team then fought hard before slipping to a narrow 3-2 defeat to Lewes Ones but it was an excellent show of some much improved hockey skills. A super tournament to spectate!
The boys showed incredible resilience to play with huge enthusiasm- despite losing one player enroute! All games were played with unwavering confidence and the hockey displayed was nothing short of impressive.
A huge thank you to Amy, Nathan and John for their help on Sunday and to all the parents for heading to Saffrons on a frightfully cold afternoon!
