Boys Development Squad
Boys Development had a real tough game versus Brighton to finish off their season. With a full squad of players they ventured down to Blatchington in search of a win against a team five places higher in the table. Unfortunately the Crows entered half time 3-0 down. A fast and sometimes rough game where it seemed the Crows were the only ones whose mistakes were picked up. A final quarter push seems to be the Crowborough way and some great team goals were scored by the team. The game ended in a 3-3 draw with player of the match ging to Beau Bolton and German Paul.
Under 14 Girls
Crowborough Girls Under 14s played the Burgess Hill 7s today. Some good passages of play but struggled to find the backboard. Crowborough demonstrated good passing hockey throughout and played as a team, not relying on any individuals to win the games but working as a team. They won 0, drew 2 and lost 2. Players were Poppy C, Tilly S, Tilly, Amelia, Catherine and Tabbi, all who should be highly praised for their teamwork and fair play.
Under 12 Girls
Well played the U12s today! They capably won 3, lost 1 and then had a narrow 1-0 defeat in the 1v2 play off. They obtained second place overall. Fantastic squad performance and they worked really well for each other. Lovely bunch of girls.
