Week 26 Match Summaries

Mens Ones

Crowborough Mens Ones played away against Horsham in a tricky game and yet displayed a great deal of grit and determination throughout. Unfortunately the game ended in a 4-1 loss to secure relegation for the Crows.

Boys Development Squad

Starting the first half the Boys were competitive, playing some passing hockey and creating two chances and scoring twice. The second half started with the Crows down 3-2. A halftime reminder to mark up, restart quickly at stoppages and to pass not dribble led to some good passages of play. Unfortunately the team could not find the smoothness in the area to score. Some really good passages of play interspersed with some absence led to the score running away from them. Despite a big score line some really good team performances. Well done to the boys. The game really showcased the reason for the team being nominated for England Hockey team of the year. They play hard, work hard and no matter the outcome, aim to have fun and enjoy their hockey. The game ended in a 7-2 loss and player of the match went to Conor Bosse.
