Under 14 vs Epsom Game 2

Well done to Young Dev today! Not the result we wanted but the first half performance especially showed tonnes of promise.

Player of the match was Oscar F with incredible work rate and skills.

Some agile saves from Alfie S keeping the score respectable.

There was leadership and a strong defensive barrier from Oli H and backs to wall defending from Dan, Beau L, Max and Joe.

In midfield, Eddie and Woody broke up numerous attacks with great tackling and tracking back while wide halves Henry and Oscar put in superb shifts.

Forwards showed patience and were ready to burst when opportunities came, Eden breaking through to challenge the Epsom defence, Ted stretching the play with runs from wide, Beau B a great outlet on the left and Riyad so nearly getting that first goal that the play deserved.

Thanks to Cath Rawlings for taking some amazing pics and to Rosie Rawlings for umpiring, Further thanks to all the parents who helped pitch side, with teas and locking that pesky clubhouse door!

We've learnt a lot and are ready to go again at home at Beacon on November 7th against Addiscombe and Guildford.

12.15 meet for 12.45, first of two push backs for us.
